Erica Butts prides herself on maintaining clear communication and transparency with her clients at every stage of the matter. An associate in the St. Petersburg office, Erica focuses her practice on insurance coverage and first and third-party claims. She works closely with her clients throughout all aspects of the matter, including drafting of pleadings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining the firm, Erica was an Assistant State Attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit, where she managed and balanced more than 750 cases. While in law school, she served as a legal intern in the 13th Judicial Circuit, worked as a law clerk for a firm specializing in workers’ compensation and longshore defense, and was an in-house legal extern at a sports event promotion company.
Erica has lived in Florida throughout her entire life. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog and going to the beach.
