Rick Jarolem is a practicing trial attorney in commercial litigation with over two decades of experience. Rick governs his representation by following three principles:
- His clients rely on his analysis and opinions to make decisions that have permanent effects on their lives and/or business. When Rick is retained to represent a client, he takes the time to understand the client and their sensitivities as well as the case itself. This way, when he gives an opinion his clients can rely upon it, as the opinion encompasses more than just the analysis of a legal position.
- Rick understands that he works for the client and not the other way around.
- For his clients, he understands that litigation is not a wanted activity. Rather, it takes the client away from their personal pursuits, their family and the business that provides their livelihood. With that understanding, Rick tries to minimize the time a client spends in litigation without ever sacrificing leverage or position.
