A partner in the firm’s New York office, Craig Rokuson brings his depth of knowledge regarding insurance coverage issues on a national level to all cases he handles. At both the evaluation and litigation stage, Craig provides practical, big-picture advice to his clients designed to achieve the best possible outcome, without losing sight of the smaller issues that may affect a client’s decision. Craig’s corporate legal background has imbued him with a keen eye for attention to the details, as well as the nuances of each matter.
A reliable and responsive attorney who prides himself on handling matters quickly and thoroughly, Craig focuses his practice primarily on insurance coverage evaluation and litigation. He has represented insurance carriers in numerous coverage matters involving commercial general liability, commercial umbrella/excess, products liability, contingency liability, and commercial property policies. His work includes the preparation of coverage opinions and handling of all phases of litigation of coverage suits in state and federal courts.
Craig has lectured practitioners and claims adjusters about coverage issues, including late notice and reservations of rights. He is also the recipient of the Legal Aid Society’s Publico Award for outstanding pro bono service. A graduate of Cornell University who earned his law degree, cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law, Craig enjoys spending his time away from the office with his son and daughter.
