Matthew Taylor

Matthew Taylor is an Associate in the firm’s St. Petersburg office, where he focuses his practice on insurance defense and appellate matters. He also provides critical trial support, assisting counsel prior to the point of appeal.

Prior to joining Traub Lieberman, Matthew was a legal intern at a Jacksonville-based insurance defense firm where his experience focused on premises liability and personal injury matters. He also served as a law clerk for the administrative law judges with the Division of Administrative Hearings in Florida.

He earned both his law degree and undergraduate degree from Florida State University. Matthew was a staff editor for the Florida State University Law Review and Florida State University Business Review; and a teaching assistant for the Legal Writing & Research class.

When not in the office, you can find Matthew supporting his favorite sports teams, the Florida State Seminoles and Orlando City Soccer Club, or exploring the Bay area’s beautiful beaches with his wife and dog.
